Terry Moore plays Mrs. Stratford, a tired, rude, aggressive, lonely, confused, depressed, widow who lives alone downstairs in a run down apartment building that she owns. She survives day to day life by being rude and insulting to anyone and everyone. On the inside she is a fragile lonely woman waiting to die.
