Don S. Davis plays Mr. Fernot, a mentally complicated, financially successful, morally crooked art gallery owner. Mr. Fernot wants Julian to be what he never was, a truly gifted artist. He believes that by making Julian successful he is in turn making his own mark on the art world. The antagonist of the film, at times we can't help but feel sorry for him nonetheless.
